Bio
Mr Richardson is currently with KLA-Tencor Corp, San Jose, California, and joined Wellington Partners in the autumn of 2006. Over the past 13 years at KLA-Tencor he has held executive vice president and business development positions. He has been responsible for a wide variety of metrology and electron-beam inspection product lines that serve the semiconductor fabrication equipment market. Mr Richardson is mostly involved in their companies in the semiconductor equipment and process area and like many people in that industry, he has an increasing interest and network in the clean technology (specifically PhotoVoltaic) area Mr Richardson has over two decades of experience in the semiconductor equipment business. From 1984 to 1991 he was responsible for the creation and growth of the diagnostic systems division of Schlumberger Test Systems, San Jose, California. Prior to that he worked as a research engineer at the Fairchild Semiconductor Research Labs in Palo Alto, California. Mr Richardson is a native of the UK. Mr Richardson holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
