Bio

Bryan joined Kaiser Permanente Ventures as a Managing Director and also serves as the VP for Medicaid Transformation for the Permanente Federation. Bryan has held a number of executive, board, and advisory positions for organizations focused on driving better health outcomes. Most recently, Bryan was the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where he brought new ideas and perspectives to the work of the Foundation. Bryan previously served as the Chief Technology Officer and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Chief Innovation Officer to Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, and the Chief Information/Technology Officer for the city of Washington, DC. Prior to public service, Bryan was the co-founder of InQuira (acquired by Oracle), an enterprise software company focused on bringing human understanding to enterprise knowledge. Bryan received his BA from the University of Chicago in Computer Science.
