Bio
Became a Partner in 1992, Managing Partner of the UK in 1999 and was Managing Partner of Permira from 2000 until 2007. Member of the Executive Group, the Management Group and is currently Chairman of the Investment Committee. Has worked on numerous buyouts, buy-ins and growth capital transactions. Founded Breakthrough, the joint initiative with Community Action Network that aims to scale up social enterprises by providing them with capital and private equity skills, and is President of Fairbridge, a nationwide charity that works to support young people in 13 inner cities throughout the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Permira, worked for the LEK Partnership and the Imperial Group.
