Dr. Dileep Agnihotri, a principal at 21 Ventures, is leading two companies (Graphene Energy and Advanced Hydro) as their acting CEO. Before joining 21 Ventures, Dileep spent 8 years with another technology start-up, “Jordan Valley Semiconductors”, a private company, which became #3 in the overall thin-film metrology market and #1 in the x-ray based, in-line thin film, metrology for semiconductor manufacturing. Dileep ramped up a technical team for worldwide applications and actively contributed to the technology development. He worked in capacity of director and a world-wide manager in the company. He managed a team of talented people for technology development, applications development and strategic, technical and product marketing. Prior to Jordan Valley, Dileep worked for another start-up “Amia Laboratories” which was acquired by a larger private company, “Rigaku”, a world leader in the field of analytical x-ray instruments. Dileep has over 10 years of experience in managing cross disciplinary technical teams, technology development and start-ups. He also played a pioneering role in the introduction of fast x-ray metrologies to semiconductor manufacturing. He also spent 8 years in the field of Nuclear Chemistry, which involved neutron and charge particle detection technologies and research on fundamental nuclear matter interactions. PhD in Nuclear Chemistry/Physics and an MS degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Rochester, NY. He also has an MS degree in Physics from Agra University.
