Erik Benson

Bio

Mr Benson focuses on software and services companies. Prior to joining Voyager Capital in 1998, he was a founding member of the private equity group at Chemical Securities Inc. (now JPMorgan Chase). Mr Benson also assisted in several other former portfolio investments including ClearCommerce (acquired by eFunds) and Tegic Communications (acquired by America Online). Mr Benson currently serves on the boards of CapitalStream, Covario, Kryptiq, and Trailfire. Previously, he led Voyager's investments in aQuantive (acquired by Microsoft) and Verari Systems. Mr Benson holds a BA in Economics from Pacific Lutheran University and an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.
