Bio

He has over 12 years of work experience, of which more than 9 years have been with the IDFC group. He has extensive experience in financial and risk analysis, valuation, transaction structuring, negotiation, implementing credit and operational processes and controls. Prior to joining IDFC Project Equity in May 2009, he was co-managing Hybrid Infrastructure portfolio, a USD 100 million fund which invests in unlisted and listed equity in the infrastructure space. Prior to that, he served as a key member of the project finance group within IDFC where he led over 25 transactions worth more than USD 500 million in Energy and Transportation verticals. He has also worked with the Corporate Banking group at Standard Chartered Bank and as part of the operations team at Marico Industries Limited, a leading Indian FMCG company. Management graduate from TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal and a Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy.
