Has been an active investor in the private equity industry in Europe since 1995. Prior to joining General Atlantic, served as a partner at Advent International, where he led the European telecoms and technology investment practice. Before joining Advent, served as a partner for five years at InterMatrix Ltd, a management and strategy consulting firm. MA in economics and law from Downing College, Cambridge University. Qualified as a barrister.
