Bio
Michael Bell is a Founder and Managing Partner of Monitor Clipper Partners, having previously been one of the co-founders of the Monitor Group. He has served as a Senior Executive Vice President at John Hancock Financial Services, and also held senior positions with Bain and Company and KPMG. Mr. Bell is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Bell serves on the Partners Healthcare Finance Committee and is a trustee of Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospitals, having served previously as Chair. He is also a former trustee of the Partners Healthcare System in Boston and has been involved in other non-profit health care organizations in the Greater Boston area, including Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Harvard Medical School’s Risk Management Foundation. Mr. Bell has served as a director of several of MCP’s portfolio companies and is a trustee of the Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. He received a bachelor’s degree with honors in finance and accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.Career
