Bio

Mr Deturck is responsible for the follow up of AdValvas, Bricsnet, Casius, IP Globalnet, Language Networks, Transwide, E-Zone, Viventures I and II, Zappybaby, Tusker Direct, View on TV. Before Mitiska Net Fund Europe, Mr Deturck served for 3 years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co, working on projects regarding strategy, organisation and operational improvements in sectors of multimedia, telecom, retail and finance. Prior to McKinsey, Michiel worked for 4 years in South East Asia, as general manager starting up the regional office of Vyncke NV. He completed his civil service, during 2 years, as University Lecturer in Economics in Rwanda. Mr Deturck received a degree of Commercial Engineer from the Catholic University of Leuven, a DEA Econometrics degree from Paris-Dauphine and a business degree (MBA) from INSEAD, France.
