Rene Benedetto

Bio

Ms Benedetto is a Vice President of BMO Halyard Partners. Prior to joining the group in January 2002, Ms Benedetto was most recently a General Partner at Impact Venture Partners, an information technology venture capital fund, where she focused on software and Internet-related investments. Prior to Impact, Ms Benedetto was a Director at CIBC Capital Partners, the merchant banking arm of CIBC World Markets, where she focused on technology and telecommunication investments. Prior to CIBC, Rene worked for Bain & Company as a strategy consultant. Before that, Rene worked for NationsBank Corporation in the Venture Capital Group and in the Investment Banking Group specializing in private placements. Ms Benedetto began her career at Dell Computer Corporation in the Corporate Finance Department. Ms Benedetto received an MBA from The Wharton School and a BBA with Highest Honors from The University of Texas.
