Bio

Prior to joining Reliance Private Equity, Snehal worked for close to 8 years with Actis where he was primarily focused on investments in the pharmaceutical/healthcare space apart from focusing on other sectors. Some of his prominent investments have been the Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a leading Indian pharma company and the Veeda Clinical Research, a leading clinical research company, for business acquisitions. He was also part of the buyout of MFE Formwork, Malaysia, a leading aluminum manufacturing company, assisting them in setting-up their India manufacturing and team recruitment. Before Actis, Snehal spent 5 years with ICICI Venture, where he made several investments covering media, retail and pharma sectors. Some of his notable investments include start-up funding of TV Today television network, Pantaloon Retail and Intas Pharma. During his tenure in the private equity space, Snehal has worked throughout the life cycle of investment, starting from sourcing, investing, monitoring and exit. Snehal holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical engineering from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat; and received his PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
