William Staudt is a Vice Chairman of Emigrant Savings Bank with overall responsibility for Emigrant Capital Corp. among other business units. Mr. Staudt has broad experience as both a private equity sponsor and an operating manager, with specific expertise in leverage buy-out and real estate transactions. Before joining Emigrant, Mr. Staudt was a founding Managing Partner of Environmental Capital Partners, a private equity firm funded by Emigrant. Previously, Mr. Staudt was a Managing Partner of Hamilton Capital Partners, LLC, which sponsored successful leveraged buy-outs of middle-market companies in the United States and Sweden. Mr. Staudt also has substantial management experience, most recently as President & CEO of Sirit, Inc., a publicly traded RFID company, the acquisition of which he led in 2002. Formerly, Mr. Staudt served as President of Hamilton Development Corp., which developed a variety of real estate projects, including four properties in partnership with SONY Corporation of America. Mr. Staudt received a B.A. in economics from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
