Adi Pundak-Mintz

Bio

Mr Pundak-Mintz has been a partner with Gemini since 1999 where his investment focus is enterprise software. He specializes in software seed investments and his areas of investment focus include enterprise IT infrastructure software and systems. During 2003, Mr Pundak-Mintz was interim CEO for Sphera Corporation, a Gemini portfolio company, where he streamlined the operations of the company, which led it to its highest revenues in a quarter and recruited a top class CEO as his replacement. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Mr Pundak-Mintz held business development and marketing positions with Nexus Telecommunications (NASDAQ:NSUSF), joining as one of the company's first employees. Nexus develops wireless technologies for messaging and location services. Prior to Nexus, he was an engineer at ECI Telecom (AMEX:ECI), in the early days of the SDH business unit. Mr Pundak-Mintz came to Gemini from Neurone, an Israeli VC and is a frequent speaker in Israel and Europe on VC and high tech topics. Earlier in his career, Mr Pundak-Mintz served in the Israeli Navy as a project engineer for Naval Underwater Systems. Mr Pundak-Mintz sits on the Board of a number of Gemini portfolio companies. Mr Pundak-Mintz is an INSEAD MBA and holds two degrees from Ohio State University, a BSc with honours in Electrical Engineering and a BSc with distinction in Mathematics.
