Adina Luo

Bio

Adina is in charge of operations at Engineering Capital. Her experience is rooted in early stage startups: marketing, product, and business development. Adina founded Black Box Denim, a custom jeans ecommerce company. Additionally, she has spent time in corporate brand management at The Walt Disney Company as well as various incubators and funds. Though she is an LA native, Adina has worked around the world, from helping new founders in Beijing to dealmaking for international joint ventures to private equity in NY. Adina graduated with a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. When she’s not making a mean slide deck, Adina enjoys open water swimming, working on her webcomic, and screenwriting. She is based in San Francisco, CA.
