Bio

Aditya joined New Silk Route Advisors in January 2008 and focuses on private equity opportunities in the Indian sub-continent out of the Bangalore office. Aditya has previously worked as an Associate at Evolvence Advisory Services Private Limited a sub advisor to Evolvence India Fund, a private equity fund focused on India. He has actively worked on five concluded investments in Banking, Construction, IT Services, Real Estate and Pharmaceuticals sectors apart from evaluating multiple investment opportunities in emerging sectors like Logistics. He has participated in investments in unlisted, pre-IPO and PIPE opportunities and seen through IPOs of two portfolio companies. Prior to Evolvence, Aditya worked for a brief period with Digital Century Capital, a New York based hedge fund focused on Technology sector. He has also worked as an analyst with JP Morgan in the Telecom wireline team in the US. While working with JP Morgan, he worked on initiating coverage on 7 wireline companies including MCI. Prior to JP Morgan, he has worked with the Mergers and Acquisitions and corporate marketing team at HCL Technologies, a leading Indian IT Services company. During his stint with HCL M&A team he worked actively on concluding a partnership stake sale in a joint venture of the company apart from evaluating IT services pricing models. Aditya is an electronics and communication engineer from NIT Calicut and has completed his MBA (PGDBM) from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
