Alain Lostis

Bio

Mr Lostis started his career in investment strategy and mergers and acquisitions, with Booz Allen & Hamilton in Paris and New York. Mr Lostis has had an international career for the past eleven years with the Baxter group in the US, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Mr Lostis’s last position at Baxter group was as a board member of Baxter Europe, responsible for all mergers and acquisitions. He participated in all sectors where Baxter was involved in Biopharmaceuticals, renal therapy, medical devices and cardiology. Mr Lostis was the founder and CEO of a high technology company in the Netherlands for which he raised €6 million in capital, and in 2002 he founded Eumedix Technology & Finance, raising substantial capital and performing mergers and acquisitions in association with Chausson Finance. Mr Lostis regularly serves as an advisor to investment funds, and has been a member of a fund investment committee at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation (CDC). In 2004 he co-founded Aelios Finance and has completed the following transactions both with Aelios Finance and in his past activities: Stentys (Private Placement - 2008), Biospacemed (Private Placement - 2007), AirInSpace (Private Placement - 2007), Persee Medica (M & A - 2007), Stentys (Private Placement - 2006), LBMA (Private Placement - 2006), Crossject (Private Placement - 2006), Cytomics (Private Placement - 2006), Biospace (Private Placement - 2005), Corevalve (Advisory - 2005), Boston Scientific (M & A - 2005), TxCell (Private Placement - 2004), Corevalve (Private Placement - 2003), Saphir Medical (M & A - 2003), Biométhodes (Private Placement - 2003), Negometrix BV (Private Placement - 2000), Hemotech (M & A - 1999), Immuno AG (M & A - 1996). Mr Lostis holds an agricultural Engineering degree from INA-PG and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
