Alexander M. Fernandez is a Senior Associate of MBF Healthcare Partners, L.P. Since joining, he has actively participated in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and execution of post-closing growth strategies. Prior to joining MBF Mr. Fernandez was a Consultant with Alvarez and Marsal, a leading turnaround and restructuring consulting firm. In this role, he assisted healthcare companies overcome challenges, accelerate performance and maximize value across the corporate and investment lifecycles. Prior to Alvarez and Marsal, Mr Fernandez served as a member of the senior executive team of Physicians Healthcare Plans and CarePlus Health Plans, two leading Medicaid and Medicare Advantage managed care companies. Mr. Fernandez received a Bachelor's in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing, from Florida International University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
