Bio
Anders Bjork, a VSS Director, is responsible for developing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, arranging debt financing for portfolio investments, structuring investments and monitoring portfolio companies. Mr. Bjork is currently a member of the Board of Managers of Ipreo and Avatar. Since joining VSS in 2007, he has also been active in the firm’s investments in Remedy Health Media (formerly MediZine), TMP Worldwide, Southern Theaters, Tranzact, Red7Media and Riviera Broadcasting. Prior to attending business school, Mr. Bjork led the global corporate development program at IHS (NYSE: IHS). During his time at IHS, he led the completion of seven add-on acquisitions. Mr. Bjork has also worked as an investment banker completing multiple M&A assignments and financings. Mr. Bjork is a former professional ice hockey player and has played for the Swedish Junior National Team. Mr. Bjork received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MSF and BS from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
