Andrew O'Connor

Bio

Andrew O’Connor is an Advisor to Xfund. He is currently a dual-degree candidate in the MS/MBA program at Harvard Business School and the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, which focuses on developing technical leaders through entrepreneurship, product development, and engineering coursework. Andrew is focused on on-campus event planning for aspiring entrepreneurs, and helping to make connections with the investing team at Xfund. A chemical engineer by training, Andrew worked developing and scaling new processes at early stage, venture-backed companies in the life sciences, first with Midori Health (a Flagship Pioneering company) and then with Pulmatrix (NASDAQ: PULM). Andrew worked for the Boston-based venture capital firm Morningside, providing technical and business diligence for new investments in the renewables, clean tech, and electronics space, and helping to structure deals with a combined value of over $100m. Andrew has a BA in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
