Ari David Kocen

Bio

Ari David Kocen directs the operations of Stonehenge Capital Company in New York and he is responsible for the origination of mezzanine and equity investments across the state with special emphasis on underserved market opportunities. Mr. Kocen joined Stonehenge Capital Company’s predecessor, Banc One Capital Markets, Inc. in 1998 and relocated to invest the firm’s New York funds in 2001. Mr. Kocen focuses his efforts on a variety of investment stages and sectors, with concentrations in manufacturing, service and other industrial concerns. He has served on several boards of directors, in situations ranging from high growth startups to late stage divestiture, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Upstate Venture Association. Prior to joining Banc One Capital, Mr. Kocen served as a commercial lender in the Industrial & Services lending group at First National Bank of Commerce in New Orleans. Mr. Kocen earned his BBA in International Business with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
