Bio

Ashley S. Evans is a Senior Associate focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the industrial and transportation sectors. She is based in Washington, D.C. Prior to attending business school, Ms. Evans was an Associate in Carlyle’s Washington office, also focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the industrial sector. Previously, Ms. Evans was an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and financing opportunities for industrial companies and financial institutions. She spent a summer during business school at Orbis Investment Management, where she analyzed equity investment opportunities in the media sector. Ms. Evans received an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where she was a Siebel Scholar and an Arjay Miller Scholar, an MPhil from Cambridge University, where she was a Knox Scholar, and an A.B., summa cum laude, from Harvard College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
