Benedikt M Schürch

Bio

Mr Schürch is a founding partner of SCM and Chairman of the firm. As Head of Asset Management he is particularly responsible for the Global Blue Chip investment programs. Furthermore, he represents SCM clients on the advisory committees of a number of well-known Private Equity partnerships. Prior to co-founding SCM, Benedikt Mr Schürch was head of asset management at Bank Morgan Stanley AG in Zurich where he developed the asset management department and was responsible for private client portfolio management. His professional track record as portfolio manager and equity analyst spans more than 17 years and includes a longer tenure as a fund manager of European and US equity funds on behalf of Bank Vontobel in Zurich and New York. Mr Schürch holds a degree in Business Administration (Betriebsökonom HWV) from the Graduate School of Economics and Business Administration, Zurich, and is a participant in the Executive Development Program of Columbia University, New York.
