Bio
Founded Langholm in 2002. Was previously a colleague of Christian Lorenzen from 1990 at Enskilda Securities, a subsidiary of SE Banken. Joined Enskilda in 1990 to establish its European private equity business EAC, prior to founding and managing SPHG Equity Ventures, a subsidiary of Security Pacific, in 1986. In all, has some 30 years experience of mid-market private equity investing since joining County NatWest Ventures (now Bridgepoint Capital) in 1978. Investments particularly involved in, demonstrate a recurring theme of backing strong management at young niche businesses in fast-growing consumer sectors. Examples include the food-led pub chain, Tom Cobleigh; specialist annuity and equity release insurer, Stalwart Assurance, and children’s day care nursery operator, Leapfrog. Holds, or has held, non-executive chairmanship roles with Dorset Cereals, Just Retirement Group and Tyrrells. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
