Bob Froetscher

Bio

Bob has over 25 years of experience as a senior operating executive and private equity investor, with a particular focus on service sector businesses. Bob is the founder and President of Vista Advisors, LLC, an investor in and operating and strategy advisor to private equity firms and their portfolio companies. In this role Bob assists management teams and investors in identifying value creation levers in their business, accelerating profitable, organic revenue growth and improving operations. Prior to founding Vista Advisors, Bob spent over nine years as a partner at Willis Stein & Partners, a mid-market private equity investor. At Willis Stein he identified investment opportunities, structured and negotiated acquisitions, served as a board member, actively worked with management to build value and arranged for the sale of businesses. Prior to Willis Stein he spent 17 years as a general manager running operations as large as $3 billion in revenue for companies including Ameritech (now AT&T), APAC Customer Services and MCI Communications. While at Ameritech Bob was responsible for restructuring the company’s consumer service operation, reducing it from over 70 facilities to 21 and eliminating $80 million in annual operating expense while increasing annual revenue growth from 3.5% to over 10%. Bob currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Empower Software Solutions, Inc. He is also an advisory board member for the Northridge Group and an outside board director for Velocitel, Inc. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
