Cameron Hewes

Bio

Cameron Hewes has 15 years experience executing M&A and advisory transactions, financing companies and operating companies. Prior to joining GH&F, he was president and chief financial officer of General Biodiesel, a fast growing renewable energy company in Seattle. Prior to General Biodiesel, Cameron was a principal at Northwest Capital Appreciation, a leading private equity firm in Seattle, where he was primarily responsible for NCA’s investment origination and transaction execution activities. Prior to joining NCA, Cameron was an investment banker for seven years, including as a principal in Piper Jaffray’s investment banking group, where he ran the education, entertainment and leisure practices for the firm. Cameron has executed over 70 M&A, advisory and financing transactions in his career. Cameron is involved in many community activities in Seattle, has served on several corporate boards, is a frequent public speaker and is currently a board member of the Washington Clean Technology Alliance. Cameron is a graduate of the the University of San Francisco (BSBA) and the Yale School of Management (MBA).
