Cesar Zalamea

Bio

Cesar Zalamea joined Campbell Lutyens in 2011 as an advisory director. Cesar retired as Chairman of CV Starr Investment Advisors (Asia) Limited in January, 2011. Prior to that, Cesar was with AIG from 1954 to 2005. Cesar served from 1969-1981 as President of the Philippine American Life Insurance Company (Philamlife). Cesar served the Philippine government twice, first in 1964-1965 as Deputy Director General of the Economic Staff of the President of the Philippine and then in 1981-1986, as Chairman & CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines. From 1986- 2005, Cesar was a Board member of AIA, Nan Shan and President & CEO of AIG Investment (Asia) where he was responsible for all investment activities of AIG in the Asia Pacific region. Cesar was also Senior Vice President - Investments of AIG where he had responsibility for AIG's global direct investment activities. Cesar received a B.A. in Accounting and Banking from Letran College of the Philippines and an MBA from New York University.
