Over 21 years investment and power sector experience with a strong record of delivering substantial returns through operations, trading, project finance and M&A activities. Responsible for managing opportunities in renewable energy infrastructure. Previously CEO of Killingholme Power Group Ltd, was appointed by lenders to run, restructure and sell a 680MW gas fired power station - returned an additional €243m in 17 months achieving an IRR of 112%. Prior to that, Vice President Corporate M&A for TXU Europe, led a large public offer in Spain (acquired and then sold a large stake in an IBEX 35 power company) and the acquisition of gas fields in the southern North Sea. Previously Project Finance Manager for Mitsui Babcock, worked on coal fired power stations including a 4GW project in Shandong China. Performs advisory and non-executive director roles for UK banks and was a non-executive director for a portfolio of combined heat and power plants owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
