Became the Managing Director of YFM Private Equity in 2003, after having responsibility for the YFM Private Equity Manchester Office since 2000. Prior to this, Investment Manager with Innvotec Limited for 3 years. Joined the venture capital arm of Lancashire Enterprise in 1988, 18 months prior to privatisation of the group. Head of Investment in 1993 and a Director in 1996. Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand and qualified in 1986. BA (Hons) in Economics from Manchester University.
