Bio

Dean McCall is a catalyst in the technology community of San Antonio, Texas. His technical capability has naturally combined with his interpersonal skills to yield a career of creativity, entrepreneurism, and successful collaborative ventures. Dean is viewed by all as a technical evangelist for an organization’s online presence. Dean is currently President and CEO of Podcast Ready, a leader in RSS management software and online services. Dean is also the founder and acting CEO of Ideagin, a web development and Interaction shop in San Antonio. At Ideagin, Dean’s understanding and vision of both local and global technology climates has resulted in projects with benefits not only to his clients, but to the community as a whole. In 2006, Dean was recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal as one of the 40 most influential people under 40 years old. Dean currently serves as either a board member or advisor to the following community organizations: South by Southwest (SxSW) Interactive Conference, the Rice Alliance for Technology & Entrepreneurship, University of Texas – San Antonio Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, San Antonio Technology Center, and the Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI). Dean is also currently an advisor to the following privately-held companies: Armida Technologies, Blog Catalog, FootballersFC, and Knowbility.
