Bio

Prior to joining the firm, Diana was a Managing Director of New York Private Bank & Trust, the wealth management division of Emigrant Bank. From 1996 through 2007, Diana served the Commonwealth of Virginia as the founding Executive Director of the Virginia College Savings Plan, the state agency that created and administers Virginia’s four Section 529 college savings plans. Under her leadership the plan grew to be the largest in the nation with more than 4 million accounts representing over $27 billion in assets under management. Prior to her state service, Diana was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, serving as chief administrator of their leveraged buyout and internal investment funds and merchant banking operations. She also practiced law in the real estate department of the New York office of Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays and Handler. She is affiliated with numerous civic and professional associations including the Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation; the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation; the UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing) Foundation President’s Council; and the National Chamber Foundation of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She is a past chair of the Richmond Jewish Foundation Investment Committee, a past member of the Virginia College Savings Plan's Investment Advisory Committee and served for eight years as a member of the Virginia State Treasury Board. Diana is also a Director of Media General, Inc. and Domino’s Pizza, Inc., where she serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Diana currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Virginia Retirement System. Diana earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida’s School of Accounting, an M.B.A from the University of Miami, and a J.D. from New York University. She is a C.P.A. and member of the State Bar in Virginia, Florida, and New York.
