Bio

Mr. Press joined Apollo in 1998. Prior to that time, Mr. Press was associated with the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and related financing transactions. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Press was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, a management consulting firm focused on corporate strategy. Mr. Press serves on the boards of directors of Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc., Athene Re, Affinion Group, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Metals USA, Noranda Aluminum, Prestige Cruise Holdings and Verso Paper Corp. Mr. Press graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with an AB in Economics and Yale Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal.
