Evan Lovell is a Founding Partner of Virgin Green Fund and a member of its Investment Committee. Evan is a seasoned investor and operator in the renewable space, having invested over $350 million in the sector over the past 10 years. Prior to VGF, Evan was an investment professional with TPG and a partner in TPG’s Aqua Fund, which focused on growth capital investments in the water and renewable energy sectors. While at TPG, where he was the sector leader for renewables, Evan led an investment in Eden Springs where he lead the board committee charged with approving acquisitions that grew the business from 90,000 customers in 3 countries to over 600,000 customers in 22 countries during a 7 year period. Prior to joining TPG, Evan was Director of International Development for Culligan Water Technologies, and also held a similar role Astrum International, the holding company for Samsonite and American Tourister Luggage, Botany 500 Menswear, Culligan Water, Anvil Knitwear, and Pet Specialties pet food. Evan’s direct experience in finance and operations includes over 25 acquisitions and joint ventures of bottled water, filtration and service companies, and the direct operational oversight over bottled water companies and filtration product joint ventures at Culligan. He previously served on the boards of Eden Springs and Grupo Rotoplads. Evan is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
