ordon Campbell founded and operated a number of Silicon Valley technology companies. He established Techfarm, Inc. and Techfarm Ventures as models for partnering start-ups, creating cutting-edge technologies, with seasoned managerial and financial experience. During his 30-year career, Mr. Campbell has held positions in engineering, sales, marketing and management at Honeywell, Intersil and Motorola. He developed, implemented and managed Intel's marketing efforts prior to founding and incubating the start-up of many notable companies including: SEEQ Technology; CHIPS and Technologies, Inc.; and 3Dfx Interactive. He's been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine and acknowledged by a number of major business and technology publications as a pioneer in high technology. He's also considered a driving force in the evolution of the semiconductor, personal computer, networking and Internet sectors. But most notable, Mr. Campbell has pioneered many technological innovations, including: the world's first Ethernet chip the world's first electronically erasable microcomputer the first PC on a chip the first IBM-compatible graphics controller for personal computers the invention of the chipset upon which all personal computers are built - currently over 100 million per year Additionally, he's known as the father of the fabless semiconductor industry - a model that represents 20% of the semiconductor industry and is currently used by thousands of companies - worth $45 billion in revenue per year. Mr. Campbell currently serves as chairman of the board of directors at a number of portfolio companies, including NuCORE, Quantum3D and Rapport, Incorporated and is on the board of directors for Palm, Inc. and Bell Microproducts, Inc.
