Ms Ames joined Oak in 1999 as Chief Operating and Financial Officer following her tenure as CFO of New Bond Trading Inc, an investment manager of a group of complex offshore, fixed income hedge funds. Prior to NBT, Ms Ames' senior management career in the financial industry spanned portfolio management, brokerage, trading analytics, cash management and global custody. From 1984 to 1989, Ms Ames developed and managed the non-dollar and derivative product trading operations for Harvard Management Company in Boston. From 1989 to 1994, Ms Ames was a Vice President at Barclay Investments Inc in New York where her contributions included trade analysis, systems development, cash management and operations management. Ms Ames returned to Boston in 1994 to join Brown Brothers Harriman’s global custody operation as manager of the Treasury Department.
