Mr. Landry is responsible for the overall management of the firm as well as advising clients on a broad range of transactions. Prior to founding Capital Insight, Mr. Landry was a partner of Trefethen & Co. (“T&C”), (a privately-owned, independent merchant banking firm focused on providing advisory services and transaction execution to middle market companies, investors and financial institutions on a national basis). Mr. Landry was head of the firm’s Investment Banking practice, and responsible for advising clients on a broad range of transactions including (i) confidential M&A transactions, (ii) corporate finance transactions, and (iii) crisis management and restructuring transactions. Mr. Landry also served as Acting CEO and/or Chief Restructuring Officer for various distressed clients and has identified and implemented strategies to improve operational and financial performance, enhance customer and product profitability, rationalize operating assets, and optimize capital structures through new financing and/or restructuring of existing indebtedness. Prior to joining T&C, Mr. Landry was a senior executive and majority equity holder at DMCS, Inc. (“DMCS”), a multi-billion dollar retail, wholesale, manufacturing and logistics conglomerate. DMCS retail brands included Dairy Mart, Lawson’s and Convenient Food Mart. The retail operations of DMCS were acquired by Alimentation Couche-Tard in August 2002. During his tenure, in which DMCS grew from approximately 200 retail locations to over 1,300, Mr. Landry served in various roles including President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining DMCS, Mr. Landry performed Financial Advisory and Business Assurance Services to various clients while at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He has served as an adjunct faculty member of Western New England College as an instructor in corporate finance. Mr. Landry has also served on the Board of Directors of various operating companies and has otherwise volunteered his services to various charitable organizations. Mr. Landry is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from Western New England College and subsequently attended the Executive MBA program at the University of Massachusetts.
