Hiram Bingham

Bio

Mr. Bingham supervises portfolio companies and renewable energy project development. Since 1996, he has worked with numerous technology companies as a consultant and investor to develop business models and growth strategies and sits on several boards. His areas of concentration are consumer platforms and energy technologies. In renewable energy, Mr. Bingham has 10 years of experience with geothermal power project development, where he has marketed power and structured opportunities for project financing. He recently assisted the Department of Energy's Geopowering the West program to position geothermal as the baseload renewable energy of choice. Previously, he marketed clean energy technology investments for Caithness Energy in New York. Mr. Bingham actively participates in the US and European social venture and renewable energy communities. He is also a founding board member of the Triskeles Foundation, a manager of donor advised funds and a sponsor of youth mentoring programs. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and received an MBA from the University of Southern California.
