Bio

Mr J Peter Thompson is a seasoned private equity investor with more than 30 years of experience in providing financing to minority-controlled companies. As managing Partner, he led the firm through the successful formation of its follow-up funds and the positioning of OCP as one of the most experienced funds in the country. Mr. Thompson has managed OCP's affairs with respect to many investments and has served as a member of the board of directors of many OCP portfolio companies. He has also served as a Director of the Bay Area Small Business Development Corporation, the Black Adoption Placement and Research Center and the National Association of Investment Companies Mr Thompson is currently a director of several OCP portfolio companies including Access 1 Communications and Bustos Media Mr Thompson holds an undergraduate degree from Hampton University and received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business
