James Hook

Bio

Director in the CCC Private Equity Fund. Prior to joining CCC, worked for 6 years at Apax Partners, focusing on venture, growth and buyout investments, with an emphasis on semiconductors and clean technology. Examples include NXP, the largest tech buyout in Europe, and Q-Cells, one of the most successful venture-backed IPOs. Prior to Apax, spent 3 years as a strategy consultant with Analysys Consulting, where he served new-entrant and incumbent fixed/wireless operators throughout Europe, America and Asia. Mr Hook speaks fluent German. Graduated with an MEng degree in electronic and information engineering from Oxford University, following which he joined ARM as a silicon engineer.
