Jeorge Hurtarte

Bio

Jeorge Hurtarte has 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and data communications markets, with semiconductor and systems expertise in design engineering, manufacturing, and sales. Jeorge has an extensive global executive network as a result of his international work experience at Johnson Controls, TranSwitch Corporation and Rockwell International. He has significant in-country residence experience in the U.S., Japan, and Hong Kong (China). He has been on the Board of Directors of the Global Semiconductor Alliance and of TUV Rheinland of North America. Jeorge is also co-author of the book Understanding Fabless IC Technology. He holds BS and Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering, a MS in Telecommunications, and a MBA. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
