Jeremy Chiu

Bio

Jeremy is based in Silicon Valley and helps lead the firm’s US operations. He is actively involved in the firm’s US portfolio companies including Unity Technologies, Couchbase, Mirantis, SilkRoad, and NetBase. Prior to joining WestSummit Capital, Jeremy was a Vice President at Mooreland Partners, a technology-focused investment bank based in Silicon Valley where he was a part of the Enterprise Software and Digital Media teams. Jeremy has played a key role in the execution and project management of M&A and equity capital markets financings. Jeremy has extensive experience in company valuation, market research and has published several industry reports on emerging technology trends. Jeremy has extensive experience working with early-staged VC-backed companies to large multi-billion dollar publicly listed companies. He has advised on over 25 transactions worth over $1 billion in total transaction value. Jeremy has advised on public and private sell-side, buy-side, mergers, corporate divestitures and brings a diverse range of transaction expertise. Over the past 10 years, he has completed transactions with leading technology companies including: Google, IBM, Citrix, Danaher, Nuance Communications, and others. He also has significant experience with the private equity community, completing transactions with Bain Capital, Vista Equity, Francisco Partners and Clearlake Capital. Jeremy holds an Economics degree from Emory University and a SIGM Certificate from Stanford Graduate Business School.
