Jim Bratton

Bio

Jim Bratton, Principal, has over 12 years of experience investing in and lending to privately-held companies. In addition to partnering with Watershed, Jim is Managing Director of Blue River Investment Partners based in Atlanta, GA. Prior to forming Blue River, Jim was a Founder and Managing Director of Leader Ventures, a private investment firm providing blended debt and equity financing to a diversified portfolio of early- and late stage, private companies. He was also Managing Director of Dominion Capital Management, a venture lending firm. Jim has invested in over thirty companies in a variety of sectors including Wireless Communications, Fabless Semiconductors, Optical Components, Communications Software and Medical Devices. He has worked and traveled extensively in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South America. Jim received a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and a BA in French and Economics from the Sewanee: The University of the South.
