Before teaming with NXT Capital to create NXT Venture Finance, Joe was a Partner at Velocity Financial Group, where he led the firm’s investments in FolioDynamix and Satcon Technology Corporation. Joe also helped underwrite investments in Avnera, Brainshark, nCircle, Schoolnet, SEVEN, Suniva, Vormetric and other companies. Prior to joining Velocity, Joe worked in investment banking at Harris Williams & Co., where he focused on sell-side M&A advisory services for middle-market companies and helped launch the firm’s technology practice. Joe earned a summa cum laude B.S. in Business Management from Babson College, where he was recognized with the Earl K. Bowen Award for excellence in quantitative methods. Joe currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Classical Orchestra.
