John Ackerman

Bio

Mr Ackerman joined Cardinal Ventures upon its formation in 1993. Since that time, Ackermanhas been engaged in sourcing, evaluating, and completing numerous private equity investments. He currently is a board member of ASPEX Inc, Better Way Partners LLC, and Brownstone Publishing, and is Chairman of New Aqua LLC and BFG Supply Co LLC, all of which are portfolio investments. Prior to Ackerman's private equity experience, Ackerman was with the Quaker Oats Company from 1983 to 1993. While with Quaker, Ackerman ran a variety of the company's businesses and most recently, ran the consumer marketing activities of Gatorade Thirst Quencher. Ackermanwas also with The National Bank of Detroit as a Commercial Loan Officer. Ackerman is a past President and board member of the Venture Club of Indiana and serves on the boards of Conner Prairie Museum and the Educational Choice Foundation. He is also the Chairman of The Villages of Indiana, the state's largest non-profit child welfare agency.
