Bio

Joined Acorn Computers plc after doing a Fine Arts degree in Cambridge, where he launched the BBC Microcomputer as Head of Marketing during a time of strong growth. After leaving Acorn, ran a number of his own marketing agencies and consultancies for 15 years prior to selling to WPP plc in 1996 after the hugely successful Euro 96 football championships that his agency, MCW, was responsible for marketing. During these years, his companies created major marketing programmes for IBM, Ford, Benetton, Philips, Microsoft, Xerox, Time Warner, and Sony, amongst many others. Chairman and founder of group partners, a management consultancy that provides insights to management teams struggling with complexity through his unique "4D Structured Visual Thinking". Sits on in boards as non-executive director, is on the advisory board of Cazenove, and many steering groups within WPP. Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cambridge.
