John Kilgallon

Bio

Mr. Kilgallon joined Bain Capital in 2011 as a Managing Director and is responsible for the firm’s capital markets activities. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Kilgallon headed the Leveraged Finance effort at Citadel Securities and prior to Citadel, he held senior positions in Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. Before joining Goldman, Mr. Kilgallon was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns, where he had various roles including global head of Equity Capital Markets, global co-head of Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets, and head of Structured Products. He was a member of Bear’s Commitment and Principal Activities Committees, chairing the former for several years. He began his finance career at GE Capital in its Transportation and Industrial Funding group. Mr. Kilgallon received an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, and he graduated with a BSE from Princeton University.
