Has worked in industry and commerce before joining the UK's embryonic venture capital industry in 1980. Starting a specialist turnaround business aimed at non-performing venture backed companies, then progressed to active venture investing with Baillie Gifford before joining Innvotec in its infancy in 1990. Chartered Accountant.
