John O'Sullivan

Bio

Mr O'Sullivan joined ACT Venture Capital in 1998, bringing operating and business development experience both from a career in private industry and a state development agency. His investment focus is on semiconductors, software and healthcare. Prior to joining ACT, Mr O'Sullivan spent 3 years working with a range of startup companies through the state indigenous development agency, Enterprise Ireland. Previously, Mr O'Sullivan spent 5 years in a number of development and operational roles with Kindle Banking Systems, a division of Misys plc. Mr O'Sullivan currently serves on the boards of Adeptra, AGI Therapeutics plc, Intense Photonics, Silicon & Software Systems (S3) and Firecomms. Previously, he served on the board of Kymata and Ultrasonic Scientific. Mr O'Sullivan graduated from University College Cork (UCC) with a degree in Commerce and also holds an ACCA Certified Diploma in Financial Management. Mr O'Sullivan is a visiting lecturer on the UCC MBA programme.
