Jonathan Behr

Bio

Dr. Behr is a Principal with PureTech Ventures. Dr. Behr is part of the founding teams of companies currently being formed by PureTech Ventures, including Libra Biosciences, Mandara, and Tal Medical. Dr. Behr was also a member of the founding team of Endra Inc., a PureTech portfolio company. Prior to joining PureTech as a full time employee, Dr. Behr was a technical consultant to Enlight Biosciences, another PureTech portfolio company. Dr. Behr completed his graduate work in the Biological Engineering Department at M.I.T., where he developed a wide variety of novel analytical tools to analyze protein glycosylation. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute awarded Dr. Behr a predoctoral fellowship to support the entirety of his Ph.D. studies, and while at M.I.T., Dr. Behr was awarded the seminal Outstanding Undergraduate Alumnus award from the Rice University Biological Engineering Department. Dr. Behr graduated summa cum laude from Rice University with a B.S. in Biological Engineering, and he received his Ph.D. in Biological Engineering at M.I.T.
