Justin Teltschik is a Vice President based in New York. He was formerly Vice President in Imperial Capital’s Energy Investment Banking Group. Mr. Teltschik focused on financing, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring assignments for middle market oil & gas and oil service companies. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing business development opportunities and leading financing deal teams that resulted in equity financings and advisory assignments totaling over $300 million. Prior to joining Imperial, Mr. Teltschik was Vice President and a founding member of Petrobridge Investment Management, a mezzanine energy fund specializing in upstream oil & gas opportunities. As one of only five employees, he was responsible for a several roles including client origination, deal structuring, leading due diligence activities, and managing day to day relationships with each portfolio client. During his tenure at Petrobridge, Mr. Teltschik was involved in closing 30 financings totaling $1 billion which resulted in a realized internal rate of return in excess of 30%. Additionally, he was the primary manager of a separate $85 million portfolio comprised of oil & gas fee minerals in Texas. Prior to Petrobridge’s inception in 2003, Mr. Teltschik worked in Shell Capital’s Producer Finance Group which specialized in upstream oil an gas mezzanine financings. At Shell Capital, his team successfully closed and managed 15 transactions with a total value in excess of $500 million. Mr. Teltschik has also held previous positions at El Paso Energy and Fidelity Investments. He received a B.A. in geology from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
