He has over 20 yrs experience in general pharmaceutical space. As the co-promoter and member of the board of Strides Arcolab Limited, one of India’s most aggressive generic pharmaceutical companies, he has partnered in creating an Indian multinational in the generic pharmaceutical space. He also led the finance function of the company through many years of explosive growth, handled several acquisitions and mergers in India and overseas. He ran projects, managed supply chain & manufacturing operations and under took business development with outstanding results. Strides has grown at over 35% CAGR ever since its first full year of operations in 1992 through establishment of world class manufacturing plants in Bangalore as well as through successful global M&A efforts. In 1996, Strides was the first Indian company in the pharmaceutical space to raise venture capital. He has made a number of successful angel investments in the IT and IT Education space, along with his partner, and led them to create exceptional value for the investors. President - Karnataka Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Association and is also a member of Young President’s Organization (YPO).
